About OPP

OPP is one of Europe’s largest providers of business psychology solutions.

We distribute many of the world’s leading psychometric instruments, provide training for HR professionals and offer consultancy to help organisations address business challenges ranging from candidate selection to teambuilding and leadership development.

Founded in Oxford, England, in 1989, OPP now has international offices in Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels, and operates through a wholly-owned subsidiary, IPAT, in Chicago, USA.  We also sell products and training in more than 25 countries through a network of international partners.

Our psychometric tools (including the MBTI, 16PF, FIRO and TKI) are designed to surface unique personality preferences and help people to understand what makes them different to others. By highlighting an individual’s strengths and areas for development, they enable people to improve interpersonal relationships, build resilience and become more effective at work and in their personal life.

OPP is privately owned, and founder Dr Robert McHenry enjoys an active role on the executive management team. We offer diverse career opportunities in occupational psychology and across all general business disciplines. Take a look at what we currently have to offer, and catch up on what we’ve been up to recently by visiting our news archive.

If you’re an MBTI practitioner, you will already know how powerful the Myers-Briggs approach can be. You may well have seen first hand how it can drive long-lasting development across the whole employee lifecycle. I know that I personally, along with millions of others, have benefited enormously from returning to MBTI concepts over many years, and finding new and valuable perspectives to help me tackle the different life challenges that I’ve encountered. So it saddens me whenever I hear of people who have had less positive MBTI experiences.
