Ethics Statement

OPP is a UK-based company operating in international jurisdictions, predominantly the UK and Europe. We offer personality assessment tools and training to HR professional, psychologists and development practitioners.

We operate in more than 25 countries globally, working with international partners and also direct to multinational corporations and public sector bodies.

We pride ourselves in our reputation for acting fairly, ethically and with integrity wherever and whenever we do business. Our reputation is built on our values as a company, the values of our employees and associated persons, and our collective commitment to acting with integrity, in compliance with applicable laws and business standards, throughout our organisation.

We denounce corruption in all its forms and we will not tolerate it in our business or in those we do business with. From the confines of our working environments, it is sometimes difficult to grasp the scale of the damage that bribery does to societies, but it is not a victimless crime. We do not authorise, condone, encourage or promote, directly or indirectly through others, unlawful or unethical behaviour, such as bribery, kick-backs, pay-offs, promises to pay cash or things of value, or any other activities that may be construed as being corrupt, unlawful or unethical.

Our Anti-Bribery Policy sets out in detail how our officers, employees and associated persons should behave and what they should do if confronted with corruption in connection with OPP’s operations. We expect all our officers, employees and associated persons to embrace the Policy and practise it in all aspects of their day-to-day work.

The Policy is intended for OPP’s officers, employees and associated persons as much as for OPP.  If convicted of a bribery offence, OPP might get a significant fine and suffer lasting reputational damage. Additionally, if an officer, employee or associated person is convicted, that individual could face a fine and/or up to ten years in prison. The potential harm done by bribery to both business and individuals is long term and hugely outweighs any potential short term gain. To engage in bribery is simply not worth any risk.

If you have any questions about our stance on bribery and corruption, please refer to our Policy or contact the Chairman’s office, in confidence. We are committed to eradicating bribery and corruption and we will fully support anyone notifying us of suspicions or evidence of bribery or corruption within our organisation.

Remember, OPP is committed to acting ethically and denounces corruption in all its forms. We will not tolerate it in our business or in those we do business with and we will act to eradicate it.
