Team development in the healthcare sector

This week, OPP delivers an MBTI-based team development event for a not-for-profit organisation in the healthcare sector.
The team provides personalised end of life care and support for individuals who are dealing with serious illness.
The session provides an opportunity for team members to better understand each others’ strengths and preferred ways of working. After an introduction to the MBTI framework, and an in-depth exploration of their own preferences, team members consider their impact upon the team. Then the team can use this knowledge and understanding to consider strategies that support both themselves and their colleagues when dealing with the pressures that come with their roles.
The workshop allows team members the time and space to reflect on how the team currently operates, to consider the best ways of working moving forward, and to generate actions to support these changes.
